Notebook or Journal (Daily Prompt)

“Whether a person, a pet, an object, or a place, write about something or someone you connected with from the very first second.” – Daily Prompt

“No offense, alright, but why do you always bring a notebook or journal with you?” My friend asked and chuckled.

I turned to him. “Have you ever felt the feeling where you see something or someone the first time, but you feel connected with it immediately?”

“Well, yeah. Why?”

“That’s what I felt when I bought one and feel whenever I have a notebook or journal with me. I feel like they’ll always keep my deepest secret and thoughts. I have this feeling like they’re the most loyal person I ever know and they’ll never judge me whatever I write in them. They’ll always accept everything I put down. That’s why I love and always bring at least one of them. Because I always feel like they’re my home.” I smiled at my friend.

“Impressive and philosophical. Why not apply for a college course related to that?” My friend smiled and I just laughed.

  1. I love this! Can very much relate.
I was wondering if I could include it in a book I’m working on where real people who write share their love of writing. It’s to inspire writers and non-writers and to make people fall in love with writing. You name, age and where you live would go in the book.
No worries if this isn’t something you’re interested in, just thought I’d check.

    1. Thank you very much, JD! 🙂
Wow, yes you can, JD. I’m honored and still will be, just thinking how I can inspire others to write. Thank you, loads of thank-yous for choosing my work. 🙂 May Heavens bless what you’re currently doing. 🙂
