TITLE: Significant
WORD COUNT: 100

“Why are we here?” I asked.

“Because this is a significant place to us. The firsts happened here.” Robert turned to me. “I’m a weak man. I have lots of flaws and you’re still here for me. Let me do something for you.” He kneeled in front of me and I gasped. “Sheila, I don’t want to cause any pain anymore to you. I promise to you this’ll be the last. Will you forgive me?”

“Wait, wait, what’s happening?”

He stood up and kissed my forehead. “I’ll find myself, alone. Remember, I love you.” He turned around and left me.
