“Hey, Matt, what would you like: wanting everything or wanting nothing?”
I looked at Jared. “Well, what would you like to have, first?”
He touched his chin before he smiled. “I want everything! Just imagine? You will get to have everything! All the feelings and all the things, it’s like you’re a king!”
I could see the bliss from his face and I bit my lip. “Great, because I want nothing.”
His eyebrows scrunched. “Why is that? You don’t want everything?”
“Not that I don’t want. I just don’t need everything. Too much is too much. They say if you have nothing, then it’s a pity. I don’t believe them and never will I. I want nothing, Jared. Truly nothing at all. Because if you have nothing, then you’ve got nothing to lose.” I finished.
