Greetings! Below is my story for this week’s challenge. Check out Ms. Rochelle’s page for more information about this fun writings!
No one was allowed beyond the wired fences.
“Hey!” The Society’s guards yelled.
There was a life beyond the fences; it was written in my parents’ journal.
My combat boots met the dried grasses as I ran. I saw the circular, wooden structure and knew I was near the fences.
Loud rings emerged and a bullet went through my shoulder. I yelled, but turned and threw my dagger to a guard. It hit his throat.
Life beyond, I’m coming.
As I tried to jump, pain shot through my chest and I felt blood on my lips before I collapsed.
