I did not grasp the anxiety you threw between us when we were still living under the sacred roof. I remember how I cut my time to spend my 23 hours with you, in sleepless nights and restless days of the week.
Slowly, it crept into me and I embraced it.
I found my body longing for the free winds of the trees. They called for my soul and I warmly offered mine without hesitation and weakness but as I was about to reach their fingertips, you snatched my wrist and pulled me to you.
Who told you that the river will rest flowing if I take back your hand? Nobody.
So why do you suddenly feel the need to stay?
