the third day;

alone, black-and-white, depressed
from Pexels;

Your blue-green eyes echoed the depth of an unspoken ocean and my frail ones were drawn to yours. Our gazes lingered until our lips stretched and the shakes of my clear laughter embraced the space. Your honey-dripped voice covered the timid lungs I had for you. The clouds descended on my mind and I could feel the touches of the blue skies above.

But two pairs of glazed eyes came to talk to you and you sent them the same smile you gave me. In a graceful death, my breaths broke and pain tore my veins. I kept my beam, just so you would not know how I howled from the inside.

Beneath the playful afternoon sun, I found death.
