to recollect without;

Woman in Black Trenchcoat Laying on White Snow
from Pexels;

We cuddled the snowflakes that draped our fingertips. Slowly, we placed it upon our waiting lips before we savored its flavor through an eager kiss. Together, we felt the winter cradled the skeletons of our lungs.

We broke apart with rivers of tears upon our frozen cheeks. Our eyes parted before we could even grow a distance. We had known it would not last long; we had accepted it was supposed to end.

The afternoon shone by the gloom of the gray skies and I knew I could not forget you. You released your last white smokes before you closed your eyes and in that moment, I hoped you would remember me too.
