whispers and some home.

In the dark room, I sit in the center and surrounding my naked body are the four walls with empty insides. My eyelids are shut, but I am aware of the vibrations, of the whispers brought by your sugary throat. There is a plague in my head, but I let it sink its teeth into my fragile and dear body. I had asked for a vision of blood, but you drew out so much that it turned into a pool. And I drank it all to remember your imprints.

Between your pleasure and moans while you devoured the parts of my holy ground, I heard your sorrow and grief of me. How I should have just stayed outside your lungs; how I should have just listened to the hesitation of my bones.

And so before the midnight rises, you have faded into white smokes—the fogs I cannot even touch. Alone in this space where we began, I light up the candle and speak to the universe that may you find the stars in the broken galaxy.

But I also pray for the death of the letters stuck between my lips that may they find their way to you.
